Q - When does hso too! registration open?
A - Registration for hso too! will open on Wednesday, June 7th, at 10:00 a.m.
Q - How is "hso too!" different from "HSO"?
A - This year, all girls in rising 1st and 2nd grade have their own program and performance called "hso too!"!! All 3rd through 12th grade girls and 2nd through 12th grade boys will be in a separate HSO performance. Click here for more information specifically regarding HSO.
Q - Are there any perks to participating in hso too!?
A - All hso too! participants will be given the opportunity to register early for Summer Show-Offs camps!
Another perk: As a participant of hso too!, you will be eligible to participate in Solo Vocal Workshop with Cecile and Robyn. Click here for more info about Solo Vocal Workshop!
Those who are registered for hso too! will also be given the opportunity to participate in the HSO 12 Days of Christmas finale at no additional cost. (Space is limited)
Q - When and where will the hso too! performances be held?
A - The performance dates are Monday, December 11th AND Tuesday, December 12th at 6:00 p.m. Performances at Homewood High School. Your child will participate in both performance nights.
Q - How long are the performances?
A - The performances last approximately 90 minutes.
Q - When does my child rehearse?
A - There are two rehearsal options for each grade. You choose the class/day of the week for your rehearsal.

1st & 2nd Grade Girls – Monday – 3:30 – 4:20 (Christmas Cookies)
1st & 2nd Grade Girls – Tuesday – 3:30-4:20 (Pajama Girls)
2nd Grade Girls – Monday – 4:30 – 5:20 (Elves)
2nd Grade Girls – Tuesday – 4:30 – 5:20 (Snowflakes)
Q - When do rehearsals begin?
A - Rehearsals begin the week of September 10th.
Q - How is hso too! different from Summer Show-Offs?
A - hso too! is a holiday production that is offered only in Birmingham, Alabama. Students attend a weekly rehearsal during the months of September, October, November and December leading up to the performance weekends in December. While Summer Show-Offs is a one-week camp with shorts and camp t-shirts, hso too! is a full holiday production with lights, many costumes, Santa, Mrs. Claus and much, much more!
Q - How do I register my child for hso too!?
A - Once registration is open, click on the "Registration" tab at the top of this page, then click on "HSO & hso too! 2023 Registration."
Q - What is the cost of hso too!?
A - The cost of hso too! is $500.
Q - When is payment due?
A - $250 is due at registration, and the balance is due by October 1st.
Q - What does the registration fee cover?
A - The registration fee covers classes during the months of September, October, November and December; costume(s); staff for the performance weeks; cost of facilities, sound, and lights.
Q - What is the cost of costumes?
A - Your costume fee is covered in your registration. Some groups MAY be asked to purchase miscellaneous costume items (tights, shoes, etc).
Q - How do I make payment?
A - Payment can be made online with Visa or Mastercard (a service fee will be applied), or you can send a paper check to the Summer Show-Offs mailing address:

Q - What is the refund policy?
A - If you need to cancel your registration prior to August 1st, we will refund half of your registration fee. After August 1st, no refunds will be issued.
Q - May I transfer my payment to another child or to another camp?
A - We cannot transfer one child's payment to another child or to another camp.
Q: Can children with special needs participate in hso too!?
A: Summer Show-Offs has a large staff and can accommodate a limited number of children with special needs. However, the hso too! program is structured differently. Because of the complexity of the production and our smaller staff, we want to ensure our ability to service the needs of every child before confirming your registration.

After you complete your child's record in our registration system, select manual payment as your payment method rather than paying online.

Q - What should my child wear to rehearsal?
A - Please wear comfortable clothing. Socks and tennis shoes are a MUST. No-slip-ons, sandals, or flip-flops. We will be doing a lot of fun choreography!
Q - Can I take pictures during the performance?
A - For the safety of our performers, NO flash photography is allowed. Other photos that can be taken from your seat without obstructing other audience members are allowed.
